The Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Jio may soon begin the availability of JioFiber Services with 100GB Data and 1 Gbps Speeds for three months in Delhi-NCR.Reliance JioFiber Services: From last year, there are many rumours has come regarding Jio broadband service launch date. But now as per the recent reports, the company might soon debut its high-speed JioFiber Services in the country.
The Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Jio may soon roll-out the JioFiber Service in Delhi and also in NCR (National Capital Region). This Jio broadband service includes 100GB free data and 1 Gbps speeds with a validity of three months. The 4G entrant has issued a notice about its announcement of implementing necessary infrastructure in few residential cities for ultra high-speed internet services.
According to the recent notice, it is also confirmed that the task of laying network cables will start in two weeks. Initially, this JioFiber Services will be rolled out as Jio Preview Offer where users will get unlimited service of 100Mbps with a FUP of 100GB per month. Under this offer, the company will not charge for first three months but collect a security deposit of Rs. 4,500 which is refundable.
However, this security deposit is similar to JioPhone which charged Rs. 1,500 refundable amount. Along with JioFiber Service in Delhi and NCR, the Reliance Jio also ready to start the services in Gurgaon and Noida. It also plans to expand the Jio broadband service in over 100 cities by this year ending.
Besides these plans, Jio plans to offer Fixed Voice, Home Automation, Media Share, Live, and Catchup TV on a large screen, Gaming services, and surveillance. In the earlier reports, it is stated that these JioFiber Services will start around Diwali 2017. But now as per the latest news, Jio has already begun testing its JioFiber service in other cities. Along with this JioFiber Services, the company also plans to make its mark in DTH Segment with Jio DTH Service which may also become an intense competition in Home Entertainment market in the country. Reliance Industries Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh Ambani said, “Jio remains on track to bring optic fiber connectivity to enterprises, home, and public place. Most infrastructures are already in place, and the company will inform shareholders on the progress.”
