Reliance Jio still stands up as a disruptor in the segment even after a year after the launch of Jio 4G services. Now, the Mukesh Ambani led group is targeting broadband industry with the launch of Jio fiber. Ahead of its launch, Airtel has come up with its plans to tackle the move from the aggressive player. Now, the company is planning to avoid the Jio disruption in the broadband sector with the announcement of Airtel 1000GB broadband plans.
The announcement of Jio fiber has already initiated a price war between the broadband service providers. As a part of the move, the incumbent player Airtel has launched 1000GB plans for its users. The leading broadband provider plans are too impressive, and high-end broadband users find it lucrative. However, these Airtel 1000GB broadband plans were launched back in May to holds its customers against Jio fiber.
Airtel 1000GB broadband plans:
There are four plans Airtel provides 1000GB bonus usage- Rs 1099, Rs 1299, Rs 1499, Rs 1799. These extra data benefits can be used anytime before March 31, 2018. The lowest plan cost Rs 899 which provides 500 GB data valid till March 31, 2018.
These Airtel 1000 GB broadband plans are available for any users who wish to avail Airtel’s DSL services after 12th June 2017. The offer can only be availed by an online purchase and cannot be combined with any other offer by Airtel.
Eligible new customers can avail this offer by visiting the www.airtel.in/broadband and selecting the base plan. New users can raise the request for new broadband connection by entering the mobile number and address. Also, users can contact customer care and apply for subscription to Airtel Broadband services.
Jio broadband services might be launched with 90 days free JioFiber preview offer. Also, Jio fiber offers a blazing speed of 100 Mbps, along with 100 GB of free data every month. After exhausting the monthly quota of 100 GB data, speed will be dropped to 1mbps. On the other hand, users can avail free access to Jio premium applications.
